BlackBerry KEYone sale will start from May 31

The company is releasing their BlackBerry KeyOne Android-powered device at the end of May and it may have a market. It'll go up for preorders on May 18th and will sell for $199 with a two-year contract from Bell, Bell MTS, Rogers, SaskTel, and TELUS Business. The company has officially announced the BlackBerry KEYone price and availability details today.

BlackBerry KEYone has been a device which has caught the attention of a large number of users over the past few months. This Blackberry phone has made its fans wait for some important reasons like the keyboard which none of the android phones have.

The KeyOne will be BlackBerry's last smartphone designed and engineered in-house. Each key can be assigned to a different shortcut and a fingerprint scanner is integrated into the space bar.

TCL Communication, the smartphone manufacturer for BlackBerry, said in its statement that the BlackBerry KEYone will officially be available for purchase starting May 31 in the U.S. and Canada, as we said.

TCL's BlackBerry KeyOne, featuring a 35-key physical keyboard, launches in the USA and Canada in May.

Android 7.1 Nougat will run straight form the box, and comes with BlackBerry Hub.

BlackBerry's KeyOne will be released in the United States and Canada on May 31.

The KEYone may not become a runway hit, but a carrier deal might allow BlackBerry to regain at least some of its lost reputation. This BlackBerry security application monitors your other apps, alerting you if one is accessing your camera to take a picture or video, turning your microphone on, sending a text message, accessing your contacts or location. It is backed by a 3,505mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0. It also comes with a 12MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.

"Secure software is integrated into the chipset and locked long before it gets near to the assembly line", said BlackBerry Mobile's Global Head of Device Portfolio, Gareth Hurn, no doubt alluding to reports of smartphones and PCs being infected with malware during assembly. What's more, QuickCharge 3.0 technology means a 50% charge can be achieved in as little as 36 minutes.
