Champion Cavs complete sweep of Indiana

After the game Indiana Pacers forward Thaddeus Young (21) hugs Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James (23) and Pacers forward Paul George (13) hugs Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson (13) in game four of the first round of the 2017 NBA Playoffs at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

James' 3-pointer gave Cleveland a 103-102 lead, and Kyle Korver made two free throws with 19.1 seconds left for a 105-102 lead. He also set a league record with his 10th career playoff sweep.

Lance Stephenson led the Pacers with 22 points and six rebounds off the IN bench before fouling out late. Kyrie Irving had 10 points, but the rest of the team picked up steam in the next quarter.

Teague will be a free agent this summer, and after finishing Game 4 with 15 points and 10 assists, including a critical steal and three-pointer down the stretch, he made clear that he hopes to remain with the Pacers.

Lance Stephenson, who was the Pacers best player in game four with 22 points and 6 rebounds knew his team gave the champs a battle. Cavs are up, 58-52.

And this time, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irvin got a firsthand glimpse of James' mastery as they watched the entire fourth quarter from the bench.

"He just willed his team and said, 'I'll put you guys on my back, going to make every play, make the right play, ' " Lue said of James, who scored 13 in the third quarter to cut the Pacers lead from 25 to seven and another 15 in the fourth to turn the seven-point deficit into a five-point win.

George's 3 with 5:15 to go gave IN a 104-103 lead - its last of the game. This is only the second time in Pacers franchise history that they have trailed a play-off series 0-3. George averaged 32.3 points during the series' first three games. IN has never endured a four-game sweep since joining the National Basketball Association.

After 20 seasons in the NBA, Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant called it a career a year ago leaving behind an incredible legacy as one of the greatest players to have ever played the game of basketball. The Cavs scored 70 second half points on their way to a 119-114 win, with James having 28 of those second half points on his way to a 41-point triple-double.

"Great for us", Love said.

The Cavaliers scored 70 points to just 40 for the Pacers in the second half.

Head coach Nate McMillan thinks the team improved from the start, but it didn't register in wins and losses.

The Cavaliers are the only team to beat the Pacers in April.

"It's real frustrating to continue on losing to the same team or same person", George said. Serge Ibaka was whistled for a technical foul with 2:03 left in the first half and Toronto trailing by 31 points after slamming the ball hard on the floor following a defensive goaltending call.

IN built a 25-point halftime lead, but by the end of the third quarter it was down to single digits.

Cavaliers: Improved to 8-0 when taking a 3-0 series lead.
