Elizabeth Warren says her favourite swear word is 'poop'

Senator Elizabeth Warren is speaking at the Union Square Barnes & Noble on Tuesday evening, where she'll discuss her new book and fans can buy pre-signed copies. Warren also jokingly referred to her "nerdiness" whenever she cited statistics, and noted that when she offered "facts", she didn't mean "alternative facts". And if so, can she take down Donald Trump in 2020?

Book tours have often been the first tentative step onto the campaign trail for White House aspirants, going back to at least John F. Kennedy, who wrote "Profiles in Courage" three years before being elected president.

The bumper stickers refer to comments from Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., who had rebuked Warren during a protest of Jeff Sessions' nomination as attorney general, The Hill reported.

"Look, I started this book probably 15 years ago, because it's the big story about building a middle class and then tearing it down, and why it happened, and how it happened", added Warren.

Warren did not respond, raising her eyebrows at the co-hosts.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton embarked on a book tour as well, with media noting that it was unofficially the soft launch of her 2016 campaign.

"This is my 11th book and books are part of the way I fight for what I believe in", she told Politico last week. "My life's work is about what is happening to working families across this country".

Almost six in 10 voters, or 57 percent, said they had favorable views of Sanders, giving the Vermont senator who failed to win the 2016 Democratic nomination the highest favorability of among respondents, the poll found. "I wanted to stay buckled down and keep doing my job-my Senate job-as completely and as effectively as I could".
