The company has proved its statement by pushing Android 7.1.1 Nougat update to its Nokia 6 device.

The phone runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat with stock interface. Also, it adds support for 4G/3G dual-SIM dual-standby. The Nokia 6 ARTE edition is in a class of its own with its black piano finish (it will also collect smudges and scratches very easily). The update brings some new features and bug fixes Nokia 6 users' way.

HMD Global made it pretty clear that it will roll out the monthly security patches alongside software updates quite regularly to all of its phones. Globally, the price of the Nokia 6 is Euros 229 and the ARTE edition carries a tag of Euros 299. Some of you may also have received an automatic update notification pop-up, asking you to download and install the update on your Nokia 6. The update comes with a build number 00CN_3_170 and weighs 369MB in size. You can also check for it through settings, about phone, and software update.

Another interesting aspect would be that it looks like the Nokia USB driver and a few preloaded apps have also been upgraded.

The Nokia 6 is now available in China and some select countries. Both the Nokia 8 and the Nokia 9 are expected to be announced by the end of the second quarter, while the devices could be introduced later.

HMD Global has shared that the global variant of the Nokia 6 will be released this spring, which includes the United States.

The Nokia 9 display will be a 5.5-inch Quad HD QLED, and its pixel density is expected to reach 534 PPI.

As for the specs, The upcoming Nokia 9 is set to powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, equipped with 6GB of RAM and the phone is rumored to pack 64GB of internal storage. The selfie camera is said to have a 12-megapixel shooter, while the phone could come with a 3,800mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0.
