Preorders for Galaxy S8 top 600000 units in S. Korea

Preorders for Galaxy S8 top 600000 units in S. Korea

The company has announced a variant model of the flagship phones with 6 GB of memory and 128 GB of storage.

Both phones have received overwhelming customer response in the USA as well as in South Korea.

Samsung India had launched its latest smartphone the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro on April 7, and is on sale from today.

Rival mobile payment system Apple Pay has a number of existing agreements of its own with Australian banks (including ANZ, ING, Macquarie and American Express), as does Android Pay (including ANZ, Westpac, Bendigo and American Express).

While Samsung is going to be hard at work in testing the dual-screen prototypes in the coming months, it is unlikely for the company to launch this device to the public. The local news outlets from Korea have reported that Samsung received as much as 550,000 orders for the S8 within two days.

Samsung Galaxy S8's improved version, meantime, has no confirmed release date yet.

What's more, Samsung today indicated pre-orders for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ are outpacing the numbers for the S7 - suggesting this promotion is likely to have an enormous effect on the install base for the budding VR industry.

Following a drop test, the Samsung Galaxy S8, with its glass back, suffered fairly extensive damage, while the iPhone 7 with its aluminium casing came out of the test with less damage, although both phones did suffer broken screens.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are expected to hit the United Kingdom market on April 28.

Samsung's work on its foldable phone is dubbed Project Valley. Looks like consumers don't seem to be anxious that the Galaxy S8 will face similar battery issues as the Galaxy Note 7.

Samsung Galaxy S8 is also quite good looking and very popular too. It might also help Samsung to put their 100 percent focus and attention on one project and can even make a greater smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus start at a price of £689 ($854), which increases to £779 ($965) for the Galaxy S8 Plus. Because we have to take this rumour with a pinch of salt for now, there's always the possibility this is just a photoshopped Galaxy S8 Plus with an S Pen put next to it. However, that wasn't the only surprise; it's clear that 2016's Note 7 battery problems have had an effect on the Korean manufacturer.
