The Walking Dead promotes Nacon, Ogg, McIntosh to series regulars

"The Walking Dead" Season 8 production is being expected to kick off next month - at least three weeks from now, according to Comic Book.

As fans look forward to the announcement of "The Walking Dead" season 8 premiere date, it seems that actors Pollyanna McIntosh, Steven Ogg and Katelyn Nacon are set to become series regulars.

It's also pointed out that The Walking Dead Season 8 will "carry a different momentum" compared to past seasons as the different factions' rivalries are now all out in the open.

The Plot: As Fear the Walking Dead returns for season three, our families will be brought together in the vibrant and violent region formerly known as the U.S. -Mexico border. With Dwight's allegiance with Negan under serious strain, and Eugene under intense suspicion, Simon is the closest thing that Negan actually has to a loyal sidekick. The premiere episode in late 2016 saw both Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) killed off by new series Big Bad, Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), whilst Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) became the first character in a while to turn into a zombie on screen.

Lincoln, unfortunately, did not reveal any specific details about "The Walking Dead" Season 8. Meanwhile, McIntosh plays as Jadis, the newest character in "TWD" who is the leader of the junk yard scavengers.

Arguably the most welcome promotion is Negan's right-hand man Simon, who joined the show back in season six and has constantly been a source of grippingly tense scenes whenever he pops up. The English actor, on his talk with Entertainment Weekly, seemingly hinted that "The Walking Dead" Season 7 acted as the introduction for all the key players in the chess board. The people of The Militia wants to live in a fair peaceful and just community instead of cowering in fear under Negan's tyrannical rule.
