Inch New iPad Pro Gossiped At 2017 WWDC

Inch New iPad Pro Gossiped At 2017 WWDC

Apple has been rumoured to release a 10.5-inch iPad Pro for over a year now, and it's expected to replace the current 9.7-inch model.

Kuo's prediction, then, starts making a lot more sense and Worldwide Developers Conference this year could actually feature not one, but two new products making their first official appearance. However, the speculation points out that it is also likely to be showcasing the 9.7-inch variants, which could possibly have a larger display area and with smaller-sized bezels. Bloomberg also shot down those rumors of the Siri Speaker being baked into the Apple TV.

At the time, the analyst also said that this device will "have excellent acoustics and computing power", pack an applications processor that's in the same league as either the A8 or the A9, and command a higher price than the Amazon Echo.

It seems like the new iPad will supposedly carry its 10.5-inch screen on the same dimensions of the body as seen on the iPad Pro, by shrinking the bezels. Amazon Echo Show is available with a pre-order price of $229.

The tablet market has not been doing that great recently and Apple's iPad sales have consistently dropped each quarter, but the company still wants to rekindle its tablet business and spice things up with a new model in an unprecedented size and with a notable redesign. It sounds like a logical probability, although Apple doesn't have much of a track record with device announcements at its developers conference.

Apple itself has said that it will discuss new features for its desktop operating system macOS, as well its iPhone's operating system iOS.

We have one more theory to back this report. Along with it, more information about the Siri Speaker also adds up to Apple's lineup of innovative offerings this June.

Details are scarce, but they say the speaker will include a touchscreen interface which could be used to display movies or TV shows in a similar fashion to Amazon's Echo Show, which was announced last week. WWDC kicks off on June 5, less than a month away. A leak has revealed that case manufacturer Urban Armor Gear an authorized Apple reseller knows something that we the consumers don't!

Apple is expected to launch a new iPad Pro and a Siri speaker next month.
