Seattle Seahawks express 'extreme disappointment' with Frank Clark's tweet

Seahawks defensive end Frank Clark issued a second apology Wednesday for a controversial tweet aimed at reporter Natalie Weiner, who wrote a story in 2015 that addressed an alleged domestic violence incident involving Clark in 2014. "I have a job cleaning my fish tank when that lil job is ova".

On Tuesday, Clark said in a since-deleted tweet directed at Weiner: "People like you don't have long careers in your field".

"Apologize to anyone who felt offended by my tweet earlier", Clark tweeted.

Later Tuesday night, Clark issued an apology on Twitter, although not everyone felt it was completely honest.

Bleacher Report's Natalie Weiner shared an article she wrote this month about former National Football League defensive lineman Greg Hardy and his domestic violence situation before also providing the link to a piece she wrote on Clark's domestic violence arrest during his senior year at MI in 2014. Clark spent two days in jail, and Brady Hoke, who was then Clark's college coach at MI, kicked him off the team.

He initially maintained his innocence in the matter before eventually pleading guilty to domestic violence while having the assault charge dropped from his record.

Still, he he "liked" responses to his apology from users bashing the reporter.

The Seahawks used their second-round pick to select Clark in the 2015 National Football League draft. We do have to do a better job of facing major issues in this world.

We're now a couple of years down the road, and Clark is coming off a 10-sack season for the Seahawks. The local media was upset the team would draft someone with such questionable character issues.
