Golden State Warriors' Game 5 win wraps up highly-watched NBA Finals

Golden State Warriors' Game 5 win wraps up highly-watched NBA Finals

Golden State has a cumulative 207-39 record in the last three regular seasons.

Rumours were circulating on twitter just hours after the Warriors claimed their second National Basketball Association title in three seasons that the National Basketball Association champions will skip a trip the White House.

But the big victor after might have been Draymond Green and a T-shirt that pays tribute to the Warriors' 4-1 series win.

Last night, the Golden State Warriors defeatedLeBron James and theCleveland Cavaliers in five games on their home court in the Bay Area.

Curry is eligible for a five-year, $205 million extension this off-season.

"It would mean everything".

These were the Warriors' finals to lose as they have been the league's favorite all year to win the championship. It is a business. I think if we look at it, in Game 3, LeBron [James] and Curry had an outstanding game.

Two days after capturing the franchises second title in three years against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Warriors prepared to part ways for what will be a busy offseason for general manager Bob Myers and the front office.

Durant said he has "no question" in his mind he will be back with the Warriors.

Durant is so dedicated to winning multiple championships that he is reportedly considering taking less money from the team in order to free up space to re-sign key reserves like Shaun Livingston and Andre Iguodala.

But Durant was quick to congratulate last year's champions. He chose Curry, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson and a chance at his first championship over returning to Oklahoma City.

But during this finals series I've found myself supporting any team that came up against the highly-fancied Warriors. Yes, Kevin Durant got his championship, but you'll never convince me it was the mountaintop experience it could have been if he'd stayed with the Thunder. "Hopefully we can keep it going". When Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank said in February that having Trump in the White House was a "real asset" to the country, Curry told the Mercury News that he agreed "if you remove the "et" from asset". We'll see what happens.

Golden State Warriors owner Joe Lacob says the team hasn't decided yet if they would go to the White House to visit US President Trump. Coach Steve Kerr also has been outspoken about issues with Trump. "I still feel like that today", he said, as quoted by USA Today.

"We're obviously just getting started", the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player said. "This is a moment we all need to enjoy together".
