HomePod: Apple's first new product in years

The conference gathers Apple developers and executives to reveal changes to platforms and operating systems, such as iOS or HomeKit. Today's event is going to be a packed one. The Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is usually where Apple previews its software updates. Other than this it is expected to launch new versions of the macOS, tvOS and watchOS at the event.

We will have to wait and see until 10am Monday, June 5 when the Apple keynote begins at WWDC.

Mr Frank Gillett, principal analyst at research firm Forrester Research, said: "Home speaker devices have become an important host for virtual assistants like Siri".

Apple is also offering tools for app makers to embed artificial intelligence capabilities. According to various rumours, only the specifications will be updated. The biggest rumour doing the rounds is a fix for the iTunes in MacOS 10.13. This essentially means that we can see more unified applications which could operate between the two OS in a more smoother way. We are hoping that Apple might announce the upgraded Siri Speaker in the Apple WWDC 2017.

The feature thankfully, does not disconnect you with the world completely when driving.

Apple's new Siri-powered speaker will be introduced to compete with Google Home and Amazon's Alexa. It is being rumoured that the wireless speaker from Apple is already in mass production.

Recently, four iPad models were spotted on a French regulatory website.

There are rumors which suggest that the company may unveil a 10.5 inch iPad Pro and minor MacBook (Pro) updates. Is it an unrelated glitch, or is Apple preparing to add it's new products - like an updated Macbook and an iPad Pro - to their store before anyone can purchase the old versions?

The Apple TV users can download the Apple Events app from the App Store to stream Apple WWDC event 2017 live.

Federighi said that iOS 11 would be the largest iOS release in the history of the iPad.

This so called "dark mode" has always been rumoured and could help to make looking the iPhone at night easier on the eye. However, for iOS 11 users, the Wi-Fi sharing functionality removes this step from the process, letting you wirelessly send the password to their iPhones and iPads.

Some industry insiders, however, note Apple will be under more pressure to improve the computing smarts of its Siri software in the face of offerings from rivals Google and Amazon.
