Kim Kardashian Addresses Blackface Controversy: 'I Was Really Tan'

Is it just us or do Kim Kardashian West's new highlighters bear a strong resemblance to sex toys?

In typical KarJenner fashion, Kanye West's wife was quick to address the controversy by apologizing for the inadvertent scandal in a high profile interview.

On June 17, she posted another image of two dogs, both equally as cute.

Ultimately, I think once it launches and people see we are a really different brand, it will be able to coexist, but be so separate.

'To say I was shocked by putting some things out there that we just not true and were hurtful.at the end of the day my mom and Caitlyn had a 25 year relationship'. No one brought that to our attention.

"I would obviously never want to offend anyone", West told The New York Times.

"As for what we can expect from KKW, Kim said, "[Contouring] transformed my face when I saw my nose totally change into a smaller nose - and I was hooked from then".

"Of course, I have the utmost respect for why people might feel the way they did", Kim said. Kim Kardashian has since changed her mind on naming the puppy Mercy.

Smart PR move, girl.

The promo was for Kim's first release, the $48 Crème Contour and Highlight Kit, which comes with a contour stick, a highlighter stick, and a brush/sponge. The celebutante even made sure to promise that the kit will allow fans to use the same "correction" tricks she utilizes.

Life can be rough at times, so I am always down to enjoy some cute animal news to brighten up my day.

Kim - who is managed by her mother, Kris Jenner - recently admitted she hopes her children would grow up to be inspired by her and Kanye's work ethic. There's no setting powder.

The complexion kerfuffle blew up after critics accused Kardashian of purposely darkening her skin - a form of either cultural appropriation or racism. Sound off below in the comments section.
