Police hunt for suspect who killed 3 in Alabama

A gunman killed three people early Wednesday at an Alabama mobile home park, and remains on the loose.

At 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, police were still searching for 52-year-old Kenneth Dion Lever.

Police said Lever is "armed and dangerous", and asked anyone who sees him not to approach and inform the police.

The search for Lever initially focused in woods near the Peachtree Crossings mobile home community, where the shootings occurred, but Walker later said police believed he had left the area. Police asked residents to remain inside most of Wednesday morning as they searched for Lever, who they considered armed and risky. Authorities believe the fatal shootings were domestic related, according to the news website.

"We have three victims deceased on the scene, their identities can not be released at this time", Gardendale Police said on Facebook.

Jefferson County Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates said investigators were still at the scene and no identities were available.

It added that he's believed to be driving a 2007 Lincoln Navigator with a Florida license plate with the number 689NFN. "More information to follow".

Separately, court records in York County, Pennsylvania, show Lever is scheduled to go on trial there on sexual abuse charges on September 11. 'My daughter has a different disposition when she returns home, ' the woman wrote. In Pennsylvania, he was charged in two separate sexual assault cases in 2015, for which he was jailed and released on bail. He was again jailed on October 15, and posted an additional $100,000 to secure his immediate release.
