GLOW Season 2 Confirmed

She eventually finds her place in a new women's wrestling show alongside her former best friend.

In addition to Brie, the series stars Betty Gilpin, Marc Maron, Sydelle Noel, Britney Young, Kate Nash, and more, all of whom add up to make up one of the larger female ensembles on scripted television right now.

The Season 2 announcement came from the official Netflix Twitter, along with a short teaser clip of a women's lips covered in sparkly lipstick, perhaps a hint of the costume changes coming for the ladies.

Now, Netflix has confirmed that the comedy-drama, which was created by Orange Is The New Black's Jenji Kohan, will return for a second series. The series, set in the 1980s Los Angeles follows struggling actress Ruth Wilder (Alison Brie) who becomes a wrestler on a weekly series in a final bid for stardom.

Like Orange Is the New Black, GLOW, inspired by the short-lived but beloved show from the '80s, has been a critical and pop culture hit.

In real life, G.L.O.W. shuttered in 1990 when it simply could not raise enough money to keep production going.

Thier original shows and films are becoming extremely popular and one show that seemed to really win the hearts of viewers was GLOW. GLOW Season 2 shouldn't be a surprise.
