Star Wars Battlefront II: Starfighter Assault Gameplay Trailer

Fans are no doubt hungry for any Star Wars promo material they can get with Force Friday II around the corner and only a teaser trailer for Last Jedi.

EA and DICE have released a new Star Wars Battlefront 2 trailer which gives you a look at some of the maps and space battles located in various areas of the game. We should be seeing a more in-depth look at the Starfighter Assault mode at that time.

The interchange of action moves over the moon of Endor, where a small squad of X-Wings move in to take out an Imperial station, led by none other than Luke Skywalker and his co-pilot R2D2. As players, we'll be able to fly a variety of different and iconic ships, such as TIE fighters, A-wings, and even the Millennium Falcon.

Star Wars Battlefront II is set to release on November 17, 2017. Here, the battle is taking place above the planet Ryloth located in the Outer Rim Territories. We have confirmation that Darth Maul will pilot his own ship which acts like a TIE phantom and disappears within the battlefield. It's pretty cool because Yoda pops in on his own special starfighter, revealing that most of the characters from the ground battles will make an appearance in the space battles.

It's well-known by now that Star Wars Battlefront 2 is looking to pull content from every corner of Star Wars canon with its multiplayer offerings.
