Tom Cruise Injured Filming High-Altitude Stunt For 'Mission: Impossible 6'

Tom is known for performing his own spectacular stunts, and his M:I 6 stunt is tipped to "top anything that's come before".

Mission: Impossible 6 star Tom Cruise limped away following what appears to be a stunt gone wrong.

In the clip, Cruise, attached to a pulley system, can be seen limping after coming up short on his jump.

TMZ video shows the 55-year-old actor slamming into a wall while on the set of "Mission: Impossible 6".

You see Cruise try to limp away and then collapse.

Fortunately, it's being reported that he was able to return, where he finally jumped to his original mark and apparently finished filming the scene. His plane sequence from Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, which featured Cruise's Ethan Hunt dangling off an Airbus 400 aircraft as it made its way down the tarmac and lifted into the sky, was a key element in the pic's promotional run.

"I do everything I can do to entertain the audience", he said at the time.

The extent of the star's injuries are unknown, as his representatives could not immediately be reached by the Daily News. The followup to the 1986 blockbuster movie is scheduled to be released July 12, 2019.

We won't be seeing the new Mission Impossible movie until summer 2018 and it promises to be exactly the same as the previous 5 Mission Impossible movies! The cast includes Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Michelle Monaghan, Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett, and Alec Baldwin.
