This is the BlackBerry Krypton

BlackBerry is preparing to release its second all-touchscreen smartphone in as many years.

So says notorious tipster Evan Blass, who this week took to Twitter to post an image of what he says is the BlackBerry "Motion" - a phone that the rumour mill had previously been calling the BlackBerry Krypton. It's making a go of things with Android, and it looks like a new full-touch-screen BlackBerry Android phone is on the way. However, there is a physical home button on the front as well and the smartphone has a headphone jack port on the bottom. Rumors suggest the smartphone will be very similar to the KeyOne in terms of core specs, so we are expecting to see the popular Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core SoC under its hood, paired with 4GB of RAM.

Of course, like recent BlackBerry devices, the Motion is expected to run on Android, and will likely support Google Assistant. The device also has a fingerprint sensor with huge bezels at the bottom. Now, the upcoming Blackberry Motion might offer the regular 16:9 aspect ratio while the other manufacturers are launching smartphones with 16:9 aspect ratio. The BlackBerry KEYone was launched in India back in August at Rs. 39,990, and was touted as the last smartphone designed in-house by the company. He was also quoted as saying the phone will pack 26 hours of battery life on moderate to heavy usage. However, since past couple of weeks, we have been hearing about yet another all-touchscreen BlackBerry smartphone called Krypton.

There's a display of unknown size which is said to have Full-HD resolution.

The new device will follow Blackberry's KEYone Android handset, which was revealed in May. Just aside the power button, it seems to have a camera button.
