Drive-thru fight erupts over chicken nuggets at McDonalds

Two women in IN wanted their McNuggets so badly that they reportedly lunged through the drive-thru window and attacked a manager to get them.

The women then climbed through the drive-thru window, knocking over the cash register and a basin of tea, and they started attacking the store manager, according to police.

The video appears to show two women climbing through the drive-thru window of the McDonald's at 16th and Meridian, enraged over a problem with Chicken McNuggets.

McNeely said she was waiting in the drive-thru lane when out of nowhere, two women got out of their vehicle and jumped into the drive-thru window.

The woman who shot the video, Monique McNeely, said she has been getting calls from as far away as New Zealand about the story.

"I thought that they were robbing", said McNeely, "and when I heard the shouting I thought 'Please tell me this is not happening to me'".

Monique Hernandez-McNeely was in the auto behind them and captured the dramatic confrontation on her cellphone. "That would really freak me out", she said.

The women got angry when the manager told them they would have to line up again.

The altercation came about when the two girls complained that they'd never received the Chicken McNuggets they'd ordered and paid for - but instead of then receiving them, the server showed them a receipt proving they weren't on their order.

"You have to treat others with respect, and you have to treat other with kindness and understand that mistakes happen and misunderstandings happen and miscommunications happen", she said.

Video of the event was turned over to police and can be seen above. The store manager was not injured.
