Jeremy Piven suggests his show has been canceled

The CBS drama Wisdom of the Crowd starring Jeremy Piven has been canceled amid sexual harassment allegations made against the actor.

Previously CBS said they were "looking into" the allegations against their star, who played a Silicon Valley tech innovator who used crowdsourcing to help solve crimes in the drama series.

Last week, CBS fired broadcaster Charlie Rose for "extremely disturbing and intolerable behavior" following a Washington Post report about his alleged unwanted sexual advances toward women.

Somewhat ironic, as it is the wisdom of the crowd that has refused to separate this man's alleged actions from his art.

The show failed to pick up steam even paired with Sunday Night Football, earning just 8.9 million viewers in its latest numbers. On Twitter, reality star and former Playboy Playmate Ariane Bellamar accused Piven of groping her on two separate occasions, and actress Cassidy Freeman leveled a claim on Instagram that Piven acted inappropriately toward her.

Piven has denied all accusations. Sitcom Me, Myself and I was yanked from the schedule early. "It takes a great deal of courage for victims to come forward with their histories, and my hope is that the allegations about me that didn't happen, do not detract from stories that should be heard".

One of the women, Anastasia Taneie, told the outlet Piven forcefully groped her breasts and genitals in 2009 when she was working as an extra on the HBO series "Entourage".
