OJ Simpson banned from Las Vegas hotel after release on parole

LaVergne insists that the report is false, although he confirmed the part about Simpson being banned from returning to the Cosmopolitan hotel.

Currently, O.J.is living in a gated community in Las Vegas.

Simpson was paroled from a prison in the state after serving nine years in prison for armed robbery and assault with a weapon.

Las Vegas Metro police said they were not involved in any investigation into an incident at the hotel involving Simpson, since it is considered a "private property issue".

Simpson allegedly became "unruly" and yelled at hotel staff and knocked glasses off the bar which shattered on the floor.

Simpson, 70, got angry with the workers, prompting security guards to respond and remove him from the hotel. The outlet notes that he's been permanently banned from the Cosmopolitan.

Simpson, who now lives in Las Vegas, contacted his parole officer on Thursday and underwent drug and alcohol tests, which were negative, according to the attorney.

Prosecutors said that Simpson led a group of men who used threats, guns and force to take photographs, footballs and other items from memorabilia dealers Bruce Fromong and Al Beardsley on September 13, 2007.

The former actor was acquitted of the double-murder of his ex-girlfriend Nicole Brown and her pal Ron Goldman in 1995.
