Mobile Moto Z2 Force gets Android 8.0 Oreo update

It has been one week since the Verizon version of the Moto Z2 Force received its update to Android 8.0 Oreo, and now it looks like the T-Mobile variant is next up. However, if you don't get the update notification, you can check for it manually by heading over to the Setting About System Update menu. There are many changes included in the update, such as a more friendly setting UI design, a fully redesigned emoji set, as well as adaptive icons for consistent icons.

The download would take some space and hence, the space that requires being available for the update of Android 8.0 Oreo is at least 2 GB. The update carries version number V15.0405.1711.76 and is rolled out over the air.

After, OnePlus and Nokia, now Motorola has joined the Android 8.0 Oreo brigade. The update also includes the relevant Android security patches including few other updates.

Android Oreo-based OxygenOS 5.0 comes with several improvements such as camera improvements, performance optimisation, Google's latest December security patch.

The instructions from Motorola say that for a successful installation, the battery in your phone should be at least 50% charged and your device should be connected to a Wi-Fi network or LTE. While the 3GB RAM features 32GB storage, the 4GB RAM variant bears 64GB expandable storage.

Moto X4 features a dual camera setup with 12MP and 8MP camera sensors.
