Selena Gomez Explains Why She Reconnected with Justin Bieber

Speaking to Billboard about how she was feeling after the kidney transplant, Selena said, "I'm good". I am incredibly blessed. Gomez of course dedicated the award to her pal Francia Raisa, who donated a kidney to Gomez earlier this year. And for that alone she deserves another award.

As Camila Cabello, Mary J Blige, Kelly Clarkson, Kehlani, Solange, Grace VanderWaal, Selena Gomez, and Atlantic Records COO Julie Greenwald accepted their awards, they acknowledged that this year has been a meaningful one for women in the music business, as females young and old have continued to pave the way for progress.

Raísa, a 29-year-old actress, also shared the same photograph via Instagram and said "I am beyond grateful that God would trust me with something that not only saved a life, but changed mine in the process. I want people to know I respect the platform that I have so deeply".

"Something that I'm really proud of is that there's such a true friendship [between me and The Weeknd]".

In over the past month, the public has seen a lot of Selena Gomez's romantic life, from her split from The Weekend to her rekindled bond with Justin Bieber. "Um yeah I am bawling my eyes out", while another person added: "Francia and Selena [are] warriors, who only deserve the best, and who are always strong!"

She then paid tribute to those who had come before her. "So thank you for all of you who have inspired so many girls who don't feel like they have a voice".

She concluded her speech by reeling off specific thanks before addressing Elle and Francia and saying, "I don't know how I'll ever repay it but maybe I'll make an epic album next year for you guys and everyone else".
