Pink to sing the National Anthem at Super Bowl LII

Pink is being given the honor of opening the 2018 Super Bowl next month by performing the national anthem.

The NFL announced Monday morning that the pop star will be performing the National Anthem at the NFL's championship game on February 4 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

His first halftime performance was 14 years ago at the 2004 Super Bowl, when he pulled a controversial move on stage, ripping a piece of Janet Jackson's costume off and exposing her breast to an audience of nearly 100 million viewers worldwide.

Previous stars to receive the honour of singing the anthem include Luke Bryan, who sang past year, Lady Gaga, Idina Menzel, Alicia Keys, Billy Joel, Diana Ross, Neil Diamond, Beyoncé, Cher, Whitney Houston, and Mariah Carey. Her album, "Beautiful Trauma", opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in October; she danced and flipped down the side of a hotel in a harness at the American Music Awards in November. They also note that alongside Pink will be actor and director Alexandria Wailes, who will perform both the National Anthem and "America The Beautiful" in American Sign Language, on behalf of the National Association Of The Deaf.

Justin replied: "I do half time". The NFL does not pay performers to sing at the Super Bowl.

Justin pulled a face and looked at the camera before shouting, "I'm doing the Halftime Show", while he and Jimmy jumped around the room. Timberlake makes his return to Super Bowls stage after his controversial performance with Janet Jackson in 2004.
